Do you like watches that are not usually smart watches? Do you have a chance to design a smart watch’s watch screen?
I sure love watches and I have a lot of them. But when I found that I could design my own watch’s screen it opened a whole new world to me.
What does watch face mean to SmartWatch users?
I think that it is a very important part of the personality. To me, the watch face deals with the feelings we are having in a particular day, the kind of style or even the colors to match the rest of our clothes.
Why use only MR TIME watch face making tool?
I use only MR Time because it is a very nice tool that has been improving and that allows me to combine elements to fit exactly what I want to design. Secondly, the ability to share is very important to me. I’ve found other tools to be too difficult to use.
Do you have a design tool to use? How do you create the image you need to design your watch face with MR TIME?
I mainly use Adobe Illustrator, and then I export to a PNG file.
You designed a unique watch face through MR TIME, Please tell us about your watch face design concept and design preference.
First of all, I like to invent imaginary brands. MR TIME Some of my watche faces from the manager have been set to be private due to copyright problems. They seem to have succeeded because they made my watch faces look like a copyrighted brand.
I have collections of watch faces. To illustrate my watch face collection, I have been inspired by fictional characters (such as Corto Maltese, Kaliman or El Santo) that I liked as a child and from Retro Video Game Seiries to famous brand watches (Tissot, Endeavor). and I created a luxury brand called Laude, but I didin’t like it that much.
And then arrived my Grand Collection with the brand Montbelliard.
I searched for the last name of a noble family in France and found the name.
I liked and this has been my main collection ever since. I truly like it. I find that it may be very sporty, or very elegant, or both.
Compare the growth of the first and current watch faces?
I’m very surprised that people liked my watchfaces. I don’t care too much about numbers. I simple find sometimes that I receive a like o a comment, but I don’t do it for the likes.
